Obituary of Jean Phillipe Brossard
BROSSARD, Jean Phillipe - John died peacefully with his family by his side at Bluewater Health on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Juanita Diane Brossard (Shore). Loved father of Yvonne and her husband Daniel Medeiros, and Marcel Brossard and the late Roger Brossard (1999), Mary Anne Kayhan (2017) and Diana Berabe (2019). Proud Grandfather of Dennis, Leyla and Robbie Kayhan, Paul, Bradley (Mel) and Christina Medeiros. Great Grandfather to Nicholas, Taylor, Ricki Lee, Makayla, Alex, Sidney, Nick, Ella, Callum, Natalie, Emilia and Cassius. Dear brother of Therese Couchesne. Predeceased by parents Achille & Emilie Brossard, sisters Marguerite Fortin and Jeanne Sylvain and brothers Roger Brossard, George Brossard and Andre Brossard. Jean was a member of the R.C.A.F. from 1949-1965. He worked at Fiberglas and was a fundraiser for the Canadian Diabetes Association and the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation winning awards for his dedication. Jean was an avid walker making his rounds under the bridge and his neighbourhood. He was a long time member of the Sarnia Men’s Pool League and at one time was its' oldest member. He loved his friends and especially enjoyed making new ones. Jean looked forward to his family get togethers for all occasions. Marcel’s dog Moxie will miss getting cheese treats from grampa. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Bluewater Health 2nd floor, 4th floor and Palliative Medicine for keeping Jean as comfortable as possible in his remaining days of life.
