Obituary of Madalena Maria Da Silva

DA SILVA, Madalena M. – Peacefully with her family by her side, Madalena died at Bluewater Health, Palliative Care on Monday, September 14, 2020 at the age of 77.  Beloved wife of Eduardo Medeiros. Loving mother of Maria Ines (Jose), Salome (David), Ana Maria (Manuel), Dina (Mario), and David (Roberta). Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Monica, Melissa, Nicholas, Victoria, and David. Dear sister of David (Connie), Angela (Joe), John (Eduarda), Filomena, and Tilly (Eduardo). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her son Eduardo, her parents Abel & Maria Da Silva, her brother Manuel, and nephew Mark. Madalena was a loving, generous, and kind-hearted person. She would do anything to put a smile on someone’s face. She will forever be remembered by her infectious smile, her contagious laugh, and her positive energy. She loved to sing, dance, garden, bake with her daughters, and be with her family every chance she could have. She will be dearly missed but will forever live in our hearts. Visitation at McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St. Sarnia on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 7-9 p.m.  Please note that masks/face coverings are mandatory and maximum visitors at one time will be strictly enforced. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
