Obituary of Theresa Foubister

FOUBISTER, Theresa (Egan) - At home on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late Bill Foubister (2001). Loving mother of Terry & Jackie, Sarnia, John & Mini, Bright’s Grove, Billie & Tina, Sarnia. Cherished grandmother of Jacob (Katherine), Rebecca, Matthew, Tyler and Joshua. Dear sister of Rose Valenciuk (Ed), Linda Egan, Frank Egan (Louise), Karen McLellan (Wayne), Barbara Mater (Wes), Brian Egan, Mary Loupos (late Peter). Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by parents Wilfrid & Lillian Egan.

Theresa was a devoted member of the CWL at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. She loved to cook and had a flair for baking. She enjoyed travelling and spent time on many cruises. She was also a highly skilled quilt maker and made many quilts for her family that they will cherish forever.  Theresa was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She especially loved her role as a Grandma.  Her family grieves her loss tremendously, but they take comfort in knowing that Bill and Theresa are together again.

Due to current COVID 19 restrictions a private family Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, Bright’s Grove with interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Masks/face shields are mandatory at any gathering. Arrangements entrusted to McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia.
