Obituary of Mary Jackson

JACKSON, Mary Terese Reid (nee Taylor) passed away on July 17, 2020 at the age of 92, being her goal.  Loving wife of Wes.  Cherished mother of her daughters Mary Jane (Neil), Susan (Harold), Cindy (Blair) and stepdaughter Gail Collins and family.  Mary was a fun, wonderful Grandma to 7 grandchildren and Grand Mere to 16 great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by her first husband Ken Shepherd (1977), parents Alec and Peggy Taylor, brothers Bill and Clive Taylor, stepsons Gary and Larry Jackson. 

Mary had a wide variety of interests from being a talented artist in many mediums, a lovely seamstress to enjoying the outdoors and family.  Many sincere thanks to the nurses and Dr. Kim for the kind care that she received while in Palliative Care and also a large thank you to all of the staff at Fairwinds Lodge.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a family celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Interment in Markham, Ontario.  Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (519-344-3131).   As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to a charity of your choice.  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com
