Dear Paula, Corrie, and Rocco family,
Our deepest condolences on the loss of your dear mother. Our family never had the pleasure to meet her in person; however, the stories of her that have been shared with us by Paula and Corrie have given us a glimpse of what an exceptional person that she was. May her love of all of you and the memories you shared with her warm your hearts during this difficult time. A donation to The Inn of the Good Sheperd Foodbank has been made in her memory.
Sending love and peace,
Maureen & Pete Newman, Connor, Hannah, Cole, Emma, Nina, & Peter and Carroll Lanier

Dear John and family,
I am very sorry to have heard of the passing of your mom. I remember her fondly from the earliest days being babysat at your house on Bright Street. Later I also enjoyed paying the occasional visit to her to catch up when I was in town and sharing pics of my own kids with her. She was always so very kind and welcoming.
May you enjoy your many happy memories of her during these days and always.

To the family of Lea :
Please accept our sincerest condolences on the loss of your Mum. I met Lea nearly 48 years ago and always found her to be a gentle, caring, giving and helpful lady. She was the best seamstress I knew in Sarnia and I wore her creations with pride. My only regret is that I did not get to see her recently and for that I am sad. Both my children Samantha and Jason remember her fondly and were sad at the news of her demise. I know she loved Leo very much and now I'm sure they are together for forever. May God hold Lea in the palm of His hand.

I cannot begin to express my sadness at the news of your mother passing. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out and I feel incredibly blessed to have had the privilege to know her. Her warmth, graciousness, and generosity were just a few of her wonderful qualities. Never was I ever met with anything less than a warm smile when we ran into one another. And she hated whenever I'd call her Mrs. Rocco..she felt that was way too formal for us...."It's Lea" she'd say. She will truly be missed by all who were lucky enough to have met her.
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers as you say your final farewell to this woman who has passed on so many lessons to you all. I know you all take some comfort knowing that she is reunited with your dad. Together, I'm sure they are looking down on their family with such love, pride and admiration.
Sending love to all of you

Lea, you will be forever missed with your beautiful stories and your delicious baking. I would see in my nephews Matteo and Luca the excitement they would have knowing they were going for a visit to Sarnia. It was always like Christmas when they would come home with a car load of baked goods. My family would rush over to my sisters house to see what we could steal. You always went above and beyond to send extra and still send hand made slippers. We will love you forever and miss you so much. Knowing you are with your handsome husband makes us all smile. Until we meet again with lemon cake and tea.

Lia was an extraordinary person. She leaves a tremendous void in our community, for she was unique, warmhearted, always reaching out to others - and by that I mean that she never failed to "reach", truly reach, the people that she was drawn to. She was the friend who would pass you just the right book, knowing that it would enrich you. Such a book was bought four times in this family and lovely passed to others to honour her example... I think of Lia's kindness every time I look at it. She was a true lady, with the innate class few are born with. I will miss her tremendously, but I have the sneaky suspicion that she is elated by the reunion with the love of her life, Leo. I will cherish her memory.

Dear Rocco Family
With sympathy to all of you as you mourn the loss of your mom, grandmother, great grandmother. She indeed was a very hard-working person who most definitely didnβt turn away from any chance to assist in the many fundraisers that came her way throughout the years at St Peterβs Church and any local and worldwide causes. She will be missed by all of you but you are at peace knowing that she is with her beloved husband.
