Obituary of Madeline Hayes

HAYES, Madeline – After a courageous battle with cancer Madeline Hayes died at Bluewater Health on Monday June 1, 2020 at the age of 75. Loving mother of Tammie Serafini & her husband Mario, Sarnia and Judy Smith & her husband Shawn, Tiverton. Cherished nana of Megan, Kaelee and Michiel.  Proud great–nana of Alexzannder, Mira, Ativia, Alexis, MacKenzie & Max.  Dear sister of Peter (late Diane), John & Paul Walsh and sister-in-law of Rene Leclerc.  Predeceased by her parents Anna & Peter Walsh, brother Mike, Kevin (Denise) Walsh, and her best friend and sister Bernadette Leclerc.  She will also be missed by her beloved nieces, Brenda, Lisa and especially Denise who encouraged & supported her during her battle with cancer. Madeline shared a very special friendship with Sharon Richardson, who will miss her terribly.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Madeline’s life was her family, she was an incredible mother always putting others before herself. Keeping busy made her happy.  She was always up for a trip to Vegas.  She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.  Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a private family graveside service and interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
