So sorry for your loss - especially in these times. David and I have enjoyed hearing many stories about Sally over the years. We remember you talking about her jokes and uncanny sense of humour. I knew her through your loving descriptions. Loosing your Mom is so hard but I trust you will be comforted by your happy memories. Hugs to all and especially to you Marilyn, Mark, Brooke and Anthony.

While we don’t have memories to share of your mother Marilyn we do see her in you. Her sense of humor, caring and compassion, love of cooking but mostly love of family. What a strong woman she was to have raised all 5 of you girls and to have suffered through the loss of a child. She is at peace now and has joined your dad. Love to you all. The Gleasons.

Maureen and family, We are so blessed to have spent time with your mom and dad during their family visits to Kemptville all those years ago. When thinking about your mom at this time of loss, thoughts of love for her large extended family, and our experience of joy and laughter during those visits come to mind. Sending our love and hugs to all.

On behalf of the Wighton family (Helen and Bill) please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sally was very special lady. It was nice for Mom to see a familiar face when she moved to Vision. I recall recently seeing Sally’s name on a recipe for brownies in one of Mom’s old cookbooks. It’s wonderful for you to have so many memories of a great Mom.
Take care David Wighton

Dear Maureen, Judy, Marilyn, Joanne and Con and families: I was so sorry to hear of the passing your dear Mom at 95. Hers was a long life exuberantly and faithfully lived. I have such memories of our parents on Vimy and growing up in the Dunn family circle, especially at Christmas. The volume was always high and penetrated by both Sal's and Frank's laughs. ME and I visited your Mom three years ago after your Dad's funeral and reception. She was well cared for at Vision and although she did not know us, there was comfort for us in the visit. Your home was all about family; wasn't it great that we shared many meals and fun times together. I remember your Mom being right in the thick of any "prank" or joke going down; she played along with a serious demeanour until laughter and guffaws erupted. With the passing of a second parent, one acknowledges one's role now as an orphan. Your grief and sorrow are raw now but in the coming weeks and months, I hope you will find solace in the many happy memories of family times together. She will be happy to reunite with Frank and Mark. I look forward to joining you all for the celebration and thanksgiving of her life when the present circumstances pass. May dear Sally rest in the eternal peace of Christ.
