Obituary of Anne Stipec
STIPEC, Anne (Orlovsky) – With her sister Helen (Dolly) and dear friend Bob Simic by her side, Anne Stipec (Orlovsky) died at Bluewater Health, on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Mathew Stipec (2001). Loving sister and best friend of Helen Orlovsky, Sarnia. Aunt of Robert Bulik & wife Mary, Ashton, Maryland, John & wife Carolyn Stipec, Surrey, B.C., Jeff & wife Carol, B.C., Mark Stipec, B.C, David & wife Katrina, B.C. Anne was loved by all her extended family. She shared a special bond with her nephew Robert Bulik & his wife Mary, niece Dana & nephew Casey Burlik, her cousin Margie Mihalik, Erie Pennsylvania, and her dear friend Bob Simic & his wife Lil, Sarnia. Anne will be missed but lovingly remembered by all her friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her parents Eva & Michael Orlovsky, her sister Katharine Bulik & her husband Charles and their son Charles Michael Bulik, in-laws Josephine & Mate Stipec, and her brother-in-law Dr. Joseph Stipec. Anne was born in Yakubiyany, formerly Czechoslovakia coming to Canada in 1935. She met the love of her life, Mathew in Sarnia and married in 1955. They had a beautiful relationship and an active full life until his death in 2001. Anne had a kind heart and was fair and honest with people. She was a hard worker and worked for several companies in Sarnia as a Secretary finally retiring from Polysar. She loved to garden, work around the house and cook. Anne had a very special bond with her sisters Helen and Katharine. Helen and Anne spent their days together trying to solve the world’s problems. We would like to thank Robert Bulik who has been a tremendous help and support and Bob Simic for all his help and care over the years, he is a very special friend and we will be forever grateful to both of them. Thank you to Dr. Spano for his great care over the years. Helen would like to thank Anne’s PSW, Ruth for her loving & compassionate care. A private service will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
