Obituary of Thomas John Miller

Miller, Thomas John – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice Sarnia, Thomas Miller died on April 30, 2020 at the age of 79. Beloved son of the late Thomas and Alison Miller. Loving brother of Jackie, late Patricia, late Sandra and late Judith. Dear uncle of Tracy, Jason, Sheri, Kelly and Cathy, Thomas and Jim. Held dear by his cousins Cathy and Deborah. Cherished by friends George Moland, Rowena Sparks, Angela Jane, Sandra Larade and Randolph Kennedy. Tom endeared himself to so many through his kindness and generosity. He was an activist in Halifax during the 70’s and 80’s through GAE the Gay Alliance for Equality. Tom’s legacy can be found in the book “Before The Parade” by Rebecca Rose published by Nimbus Publishing Limited. The last part of his life was spent with his niece Sheri and her family. He was happy and comfortable in his new home where he brought much joy and lots of baking.
