Annette’s greatest passion was her family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Annette was a special needs school bus driver for Charterways for 40 years, retiring in 1999. Driving those children gave her great joy every day and they adored her (she always bucked the rules). Her favorite pastime was playing cards and we are sure she has already got a game started. Although she could be a brat at times she had a heart of gold. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. A private graveside service will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude for the compassionate care given to mom in her last days at Bluewater Health. As an expression of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to Pathways Health Centre For Children, 1240 Murphy Road, Sarnia, N7S 2Y2 or Canadian Mental Health Association, 210 Lochiel Street, Sarnia N7T 4C7. Arrangements entrusted to The McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia. Messages of condolence & memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com
