Obituary of Irene Lacasse

LACASSE, Irene – Peacefully at home, with her daughters by her side, Irene Lacasse died on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Paul-Andre Lacasse. Loving mother of Marie-Paule Wilkinson, Bright’s Grove, late Gerry Lacasse & his wife Darlene, B.C., Marcel Lacasse & his wife Catalina, Mexico, Diane Lacasse & her husband Ron Parker, Chesterville, ON, and Denise McBain & her husband Bill Wintermute, Edmonton. Dear sister of Marie Ethier, Timmins. Cherished grandmother of 10 and proud great grandmother of 10. Also survived by her special nephew Gerard Laliberte & his wife Rose-Marie and her niece Jeannine Rivard & her husband Sylvain, Sarnia. Predeceased by her parents Marie Anne and Urbain Lachapelle, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Irene will be missed by her neighbours at Pineview. She loved to spend time playing cards with them. Irene was a long standing member of St. Benedict’s Church and an over 25 year member of the Catholic Women’s League. Private graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
