Obituary of Betty Ann Warnez

WARNEZ (NEEDHAM), Betty Ann – Betty passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Bluewater Health on Monday, March 2, 2020 at the age of 94. Beloved mother of Diane Gifford, Barb Laidler (Steve), the late Theresa Warnez (2014) and the late Kathy Warnez (2005). Loving grandmother of Ryan Kemsley, Kaela Gifford, Megan Boss (Rob), Dustin Laidler and Tina Auby. Also surviving are 3 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Thomas and Margaret Needham. Betty was a very talented and crafty lady. She was always busy with her hands and was always up for a game of cards and enjoyed playing bingo. Betty had a real soft spot for animals and for many years had pets of her own. Betty’s family would like to thank the staff of Marshall Gowland Manor and Bluewater Health 4th floor Med G for the excellent care given to her. Visitation at McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St. Sarnia on Friday from 5-7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
