My most sincere condolences for the McNeill family. Wilma and I worked together 40 odd years ago and became close friends. We lost touch for a lot of years as life took us both in different directions. We reconnected a few years ago and it gave me great pleasure to run her around town on her many errands, usually to buy greeting cards or stamps! I called it Driving Miss Daisy. I will miss her so much!

Paula, Gary and family. Your mother was a stellar woman! Reliable, dedicated, kind and sincere. Her genuine care for others made her stand out in society. Brad and I will be holding you close in our hearts at this time of sorrow. Sincerely, Susan and Brad Robb

Warner & I were neighbours of Wilma and Ed McNeill for many years. Wilma could always be counted on to canvas for various charities, but one of her constants was Heart & Stroke in February, a dubious month for weather, but she could be found at every neighbour's door asking for a donation until her health began to fail. You couldn't say NO to Wilma, your conscience wouldn't let you!
Her love and devotion to Ed, her husband, is well known to anyone who knew Wilma. After Ed passed on to his reward in 2013, Wilma visited his resting place regularly, and talked with Ed daily in prayer. Now they are reunited forever. May you rest in Peace, dear Wilma.

I had the privilege of knowing Wilma as a fellow volunteer with the local Multiple Sclerosis chapter for many years, helping to sell flowers for the annual Carnation Campaign fund raiser on Mother's Day week-ends. She always liked to have a shift in front of the Pt. Edward liquor store where she used to work.
I just recently saw her at church and got a big smile from her during the "Sign of Peace". That is a wonderful way to always remember her.
My condolences to the family - what a role model she was!

Paula, Gary & Family, so sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. She will be missed including her optimism, her cheerfulness and of course her passion to make our community a better place. She had many friends and always made a point of saying hello and sharing her “pink”. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

I have known Wilma for many years. Always a bright smile to great you. She was a force to be reckoned with and an awesome, strong lady. I will never forget her response every time we asked her "How are you?" "I'm in the pink" she'd say with a huge smile.
Know that my family mourns along with yours at this tremendous loss. Sarnia has lost an incredible lady.

I am one of your old neighbors from Clark Street where Alan & I had such great memories of your parents. I always enjoyed your Mother's visits to PEI where we met with other Clark St. neighbors at Tim Horton's. I will miss hearing her newsy updates every Christmas and was always interested in hearing the updates on all you McNeill children. Our deepest sympathy to each one of you. Sincerely Doris Warren McEvoy and Robert McEvoy.

We have lost a fighter for Veteran's and an amazing woman: wife, mother, grandmother & friend. . My late husband, Jack, a Korean War veteran, was a supporter of Wilma's in their battle to make Remembrance Day a national holiday. She was always "in the pink" no matter when I spoke with her. A woman of deep faith she has now met her Maker. "Well done, good and faithful servant!" My sympathy to Wilma & Ed's family. Fran LaChance

Our deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of Wilma. She was a very special woman who was always in the pink according to her favourite saying. I will miss her smile and our trips out on errands around town. She never forgot a birthday, anniversary or special day with a card with a note to let you know you were special in her life. Rest in peace Wilma and enjoy Ed again up in heaven.
Love,
