Obituary of Paul Manning McLean

MCLEAN, Paul Manning – Suddenly at his residence, Paul McLean died on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn. Loving father of Paula Hicks & her husband Matt and Michele Smeets & her husband Jamie. Cherished grandfather of Sara & Emily Hicks and Alycia & Jordyn Smeets. Dear brother of Mary Ford and Judy McIntyre. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Thomas & Florence McLean and his siblings; Thomas, Peter, Albert, David, Jack and Wayne McLean and Peggy & Jean McIntyre and Carol Walsh. Paul worked for many years as a custodian with the Lambton Board of Education. He enjoyed music and spending time playing guitar. Paul was an avid hockey fan and loved playing his scratch tickets. Visitation will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 1st at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery, Forest.
