Obituary of Therese Bauer

BAUER, Therese – Peacefully at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Therese Bauer died on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the age of 98. Beloved daughter of the late Andreas and Theresia Bauer. Loving sister of the late Frieda, Johann, Richard, Ludwig, Wilhelm, Adolf, Ernst, Maria, Victoria and Hildegard all of Germany. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by many cousins in the U.S.A., Germany and Switzerland. Therese worked for many years at Our Lady of Mercy Church. She was a gentle woman who gave to others before herself. She led a quiet but happy life. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all those whose lives she touched. Visitation will be held at McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina Street, Sarnia on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. with a service of celebration to follow at 3:30 p.m. Cremation will follow with burial in Michigan at a later date.
