Obituary of Karl Heinz Grave

GRAVE, Karl Heinz – Heinz passed away with family by his side at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the age of 91. Beloved partner of Ann Meggett. Dear father of Heinz Jr. (Darlene), Sault Ste. Marie, Ursula Grave Ottawa, Renate Grave-Forbes (Jim), Ottawa and Sylvia Stanghetta (Patrick), Ottawa. Loving Opa to Jacquie Lohan (Kevin), Aundrea Taillefer (Jason Rafuse), Alexa Stanghetta and Jason Stanghetta. Great-opa of Conor and Caitlin Lohan, Addison and Easton Rafuse. Predeceased by parents Willem & Louise Grave and wife Irene Lydia (Niezurawski). Heinz was born in Dortmund, Germany and came to Canada in 1957, first settling in Sudbury before moving to Sault Ste. Marie. He worked for many years at Algoma Steel while in the Soo. He came to Sarnia in 1999 after retirement in 1992. Cremation has taken place. At Heinz’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
