Obituary of Greta Florence Affleck

AFFLECK, Greta “Rita” (Rossignol) – Rita died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late John (1997). Dear mother of Kathy Harris (Doug), Sarnia, Cindy Arseneau (Fred), Corunna, Peggie Deschenes (Rick), Sarnia, Shelley Russell (Jim), Petrolia and Christine Affleck (Ken), Sarnia. Loving grandmother of April MacNeil (Neil), Ken Harris (Melissa), John Arseneau, Amanda Penny (Bill), Kevin Harris (Carrie), Jennifer Lamont (Rob), Christine Park (Dave), Danny Harris (Jess), Johnnie Affleck, Jamie Patterson (Kevin), Austin Arnold and Jordan Affleck. Great-grandmother of 20. Sister of Pat Van Huizen (late Stu). Sister-in-law of Chuck MacDonald (Bev) and Phyllis Rossignol. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Noah & Tina Rossignol, sister Susan Rossignol, brothers, Al, Greg and Joe Rossignol. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday, October 15 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. There will be no funeral service. A private graveside service will be held.
