Obituary of Jean Duguay

Duguay, Jean Mildred – At Bluewater Health on Thursday, September 19, 2019, Jean Duguay died at the age of 85.  Beloved wife of Claude Duguay.  Loving mother of Richard (Reberta), Kathy (Serge) Pronovost and Claudia Hall. Cherished grandmother of Bradley, Christopher, Corey, Paige and Jessica.  Proud great-grandmother of Owen, Kaelin, Austyn and Poppy.  Dear sister of Sonny (Lucy) Vallier, Elizabeth (John) Kurpel, Doreen McBride and sister-in-law Sharon Vallier. Predeceased by her parents Gordon & Mary Edna Vallier, brothers; Peter, James (Sheila) and Garry and sisters Theresa & Geraldine (John) Beauvais.  Jean’s life was her family and spending time with them gave her great joy.  She was an avid reader and loved to skate, swim and play cards.  She was an exceptional baseball player in her time. Jean was a pet lover and especially enjoyed her daily walks with Molly.  Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019 at St. Benedict’s Church.  Interment will take place at Timmins Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
