Obituary of Judy Ann Rogers

ROGERS, Judy Ann (nee Evans) - Her passing on September 18, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospice leaves a hole in many hearts. Daughter of the late Albert Evans and Alice Hunter of Peterborough. Beloved wife of George Rogers. Deeply missed by her children, Christine Sonier (Paul), Tammy Rogers, Trent Rogers and Terri Domingue (Stan Fletcher), all of Sarnia. Grandmother of Jocelyn, Sarah, Joshua, Tanya, Michline, Taylor, Miranda and Caitlin. Great-grandmother of Maddison, Macelynn, Blake, Montgomery and Vaida. Sister of the late Robert Evans (Marjorie) of Kingston and raised as a daughter by her Aunt the late Florence Brinson (Evans) and the late Roy Brinson of Tweed; and as a sister by her cousins Gerald (Olive May), Marylou (Bob Lumbard), Dan (Betty), the late Florence (Norman Fry), Llewella (the late Doyle Cox) and Bob (Joan). A long-time employee of Sears Canada, Judy very much enjoyed retiree lunches with her close circle of dear work friends. She loved crocheting and tending her lovely gardens. She rarely missed tuning in to a Blue Jays or Maple Leafs game. Cremation has taken place and at her request there will not be a formal service but a celebration of life with family and friends will be held at the Lochiel Kiwanis Centre, 180 College Ave N, Sarnia, ON N7T 7X2 on Sunday Oct. 20th from 2-5 pm. Arrangements entrusted to McKenzie Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 Christina St., Sarnia N7T 5W3 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
