Obituary of Joan Serre

Serre, Joan - Peacefully at Bluewater Health on Sunday, February 3, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Henry Serre. Loving mother and best friend of Shelly Bannon (Brad Gold), Hamilton and Susan O'Neil (Dale Patterson), Sarnia. The best Gramma to Rishell Vandervies, Mathew Pilon, Leah Pilon, Jade O'Neil and Alex O'Neil. Great-grandmother of Hana, Carson and Sara. Sister of Roy Butler (Lucy), Eric Butler, Louise Foster (late Robert), the late Mervin Butler (Kathy) and Keith Bulter (Ann). Predeceased by her parents Bert & Theresa Butler. She will also be very much missed by her furry constant companion Boo. Joan had an artistic talent and loved making decorations for various events at the Moose Lodge.  A celebration of Joan's life will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 1-3 at the Moose Lodge, 874 Phillip St (off Confederation).  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations Bluewater Health Palliative Care, 89 Norman St., N7T 6S3.  Arrangements entrusted to McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home (519-344-3131).
