Obituary of Norman John Krumholtz

KRUMHOLTZ, Norman John – With his family by his side, Norman passed away peacefully at Vision Nursing Home on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of Elfrieda (Selinger). Dear father of Dale Krumholtz (Penny), Sarnia, Randy Krumholtz (Jane), Sarnia, Gary Krumholtz (Anita), Point Edward, Karen Seifritz (Rolland), Sarnia and Christine Fulcher, Sarnia. Loving grandfather of Darcy (Lee) & Bryan Krumholtz, Pamela (Salim) & Rebecca (Warren) Krumholtz, Erica Banihashemi (Nima), Stacey Krumholtz,   (Brandon), late Andy Kornet, Michelle Russell (Dan), Mallory Blake (Kevin), Jamie Fulcher (Jen), Tyler Fulcher (Lyndsey) and Tyson Fulcher. Great-grandfather of 18.  Predeceased by parents Christian & Harriet Krumholtz, brothers Elgin and Elmer Krumholtz, and sisters Viola Berry, Muriel Krumholtz, Ethel MacKachern and twin sister Thelma Bridge. Norm was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. He retired from Fiberglas after 36 years of service. For those who knew Norm, they will always remember his love for music, playing guitar, fiddle, mouth organ and singing. He had a great sense of humour and enjoyed playing many tricks and pranks on his grandchildren. He enjoyed life to the fullest! Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at the Moose Lodge, 874 Phillip St (off Confederation) at 12 noon Tuesday.
