Fe ‘Chic’ Zaballero de Guzman

DE GUZMAN, Fe ‘Chic’ – Passed peacefully in the comfort of her family and friends at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the age of 69.  Beloved wife of Jorge of 49 years. Loving mother of Anna Bennett (John) of Belleville and Kate Foley (James) of Corunna. Mama Chic will be fondly remembered by her six grandchildren Jackson Bennett, Maya Bennett, Wyatt Bennett, Ethan Foley, Tessa Foley, and Tylar Foley. Survived by her sister Adelita Hahne (Hans) of Germany, her ‘brother’ Domingador Evacula of the Philippines, brothers-in-law Jamie de Guzman and Bobby de Guzman (Doris) of Philippines, sisters-in-law Elsa Pascual and Asuncion Garcia. She held special place for the Driscoll, Lejarde, and Jimenez families in Ohio, and the Alcala and de Guzman families in the Philippines, Australia, Bangkok, and the United States. Predeceased by her parents Bienvenido and Adelina Zaballero, sister Noemi Alcala, father and mother in law, Joaquin and Estella de Guzman, and brother in law, Jose de Guzman.  

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place with plans of interment in the Philippines.  Celebration of Life, celebration of songs and inspiration, will be held at Grace United Church, 990 Cathcart Boulevard, Sarnia on December 1st, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00pm. The family would like to extend appreciation and thanks to the most caring medical team and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice and Bluewater Health.
