Dear Annette and famliy,
It was with sadness that I learned of your dear husband and father's passing. By experience, I know how difficult it is to lose someone you love. However, we, as believers in the after-life, know that this life is only an entrance exam for the real life in God's presence. This is our hope and comfort because we know we will again be reunited.
I have heard but good things about Alan through the years and I know he will be greatly missed. Be comforted as you receive family and friends tomorrow at the funeral and recall the wonderful memories of a truly good husband and father.
Unfortunately, I cannot be there but I will be lifting you in my prayers.
