Obituary of Germain "Gerry" Alphonse Breault

BREAULT, Germain, Alphonse – Surrounded by his family, at Bluewater Health,  Germain “Gerry” died on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 90 years of age.  Beloved husband  of Laura for 61 years. Loving father of Richard (Janice) Breault, Victor (Carole) Breault, Guy (Linda) Breault, Suzanne (Donald), McIlhone, and Guylaine (George) Patton.  Proud pépère of Danielle (Riley), Marc (Charissa), Courtney (Adam), Mathew, Melina, Ryan, Jamie, Garrett, Stephane and Drew. Cherished grand-pépère of Lena, Layton, Zachary, Nicholas and Adeline.  Dear brother of Rosaire Breault, Lucie (André) Drouin, Marcel (Ghislaine) Breault, Clément (Antoinette) Breault, Irma (Rosaire) Lambert, Pauline (Marcel) Bédard, Léa Bédard. Brother-in-law of  Louis Brisson, Pauline Breault, Anita Breault, Sylvio Drouin, Wilfrid (Delvine) Drouin, Antonio (Jacqueline) Drouin, Madeleine (Donald) Bélanger, Denis (Micheline) Drouin, Jean-Paul (Diane) Drouin, Léo Drouin and René (Nicole) Drouin.  Also survived by many nephews and nieces.  Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Berthe (Duhamel) Breault; brothers Lucien Breault, Gilles Breault, Dolores (Marcel) Daigle, Aurèle Breault, Rhéal Breault and sisters Nicole Breault, Grace Brisson, and Yolande (Carl) O’Connor. Gerry was a long time parishioner of l’Église St. Thomas d’Aquin, a member of le Club de la Gaieté, le Club Jolliet, and the International Order of Foresters. His passion was his family. He enjoyed bowling at Hiway Bowl, in the Friday Night League and Marcin Bowl in the Wednesday afternoon league.  He was a 53 year member of the Carpenter’s Union, Local 1256. Gerry loved to march in the Labour Day parade every year with the brotherhood.  He loved his daily strolls around the neighbourhood. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday, July 19, 2018  from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Bishop Donald Thériault at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Friday, July 20^th  at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.  Private family interment at a later date.
