Obituary of Ronald Emanuel Chisholm
CHISHOLM, Ronald Emanuel Sr. – With his family by his side, Ronald Chisholm Sr. died peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the age of 85. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Willomay (THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE), his children Ronald Chisholm Jr. of Michigan and his children Kate, Alexandra, Aronor, and Victoria; Jahavel Chisholm & his wife Dawn of Sarnia and his children Stephanie, Jazmin, Jessica, Jerrica, Jahavel Jr, Jeremiah and step-children Suzanna, Frankie III and Robert; Heron Warren & her husband Jim of Pennsylvania and their children Chentil, Ruthie and Breanna; Dantz Chisholm of Windsor and his children Blake and Nahliyah. Great-grandfather of 10. Predeceased by his parents John & Daisy Chisholm and his siblings.
On Thursday, April 27, 1933 in the Southeastern town of Port Morant, St. Thomas Jamaica, Ronald Emanuel Chisholm Sr. was born to Daisy Campbell and John Chisholm. At age 14 Ronald met Willomay also 14 and soon their journey through life began. Both graduating at age 16 Ronald went on to trade school while Willomay began her college career. Five years later on June 19, 1954 Ronald and Willomay married. Immigrating to England later in 1963 Ronald Jr. was born. Two years later Jahavel added to the Chisholm family. Shortly after the birth of their second son the Chisholm's immigrated again. This move was to Canada where Ronald worked at Victoria Hospital (Parkwood Veteran's Hospital at the time) in London, Ontario. In 1966 Ronald's little princess Heron blessed the home. Three years later, exactly one month before Christmas in 1969, Dantz completed the Chisholm family. In 1973 the family's final migration was to the United States. Ronald opened an adult foster home and children's foster home soon after arriving to Port Huron Michigan. He continued the children's foster home in Florida. Ronald served on the board of directors with Goodwill Industries in Port Huron for over 20 years. In addition, he built a sizable real estate business. With all the blessings that were at hand, Ronald reached out for and obtained his true passion, THE MINISTRY. For all that were blessed to know him, generosity would be the greatest common factor to describe Ronald. His unshaken love for the Lord shined in all that he put his hand to.
