Obituary of Patrick Joseph Bacon

BACON, Patrick Joseph – Patrick Bacon died at Bluewater Health on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the age of 66.  Loving father and best friend of Jim (Christine) Bacon, Jessica (Daniel) Bacon and Melanie Bacon.  Cherished grandfather of James Patrick Bacon and great-grandfather of Edward Craig Bacon. Dear brother of Joanne (Arnold) Bongers, Raymond (Mary Jane) Bacon, Pauline Bacon, Dave (Sue) Bacon,  Don (Kathy) Bacon, Diane Somerville, Al (Leone) Bacon and Angie (Mark) Verbeek. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John & Lumina Bacon. Patrick was a member of Local 95 Insulators Union for 37 years. In his retirement years Patrick now had the time to take meticulous care of his lawn and his truck. He also enjoyed his yearly trips to the sun and sand with his children. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018.
