Obituary of John Gerald McLean

MCLEAN, John Gerald “Jack” – Suddenly at his residence, Jack McLean died on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the age of 70.  Beloved husband of over 40 years to the late Nenita (April 16, 2018).  Dear father of John (Tracey) McLean, Robert (Janet) McLean and Steven (Beth) McLean and Lisa Kasch.  Loving step-father of Leonardo, Victor & Gerardo Brinas, Josefina Alilion (Melencio) and Junette Latham.    Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. Dear brother  of Paul McLean, Jean McIntyre, Mary Ford and Judy McIntyre.  Brother-in-law of Jose Villaron and Bishop Armando de la Cruz.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Thomas & Florence McLean and his siblings; Thomas, Peter, Albert, David and Wayne McLean and Peggy McIntyre  and Carol Walsh.  Jack worked for many years as a custodian with the St. Clair Catholic School Board. He enjoyed music and spending time playing guitar.  Jack was known by all his neighbours for having the best and most Christmas lights on the street.  Visitation will be held Tuesday May 15, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 16^th at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
