Obituary of Rosa Andali

ANDALI, ROSA - With her family by her side, at Bluewater Health Continuing Care, Petrolia, Rosa Andali passed peacefully to meet her creator on Monday, December 4, 2017. Beloved wife of Giovanni Andali for 65 years.  Loving mother of Gaetano (Liz Bednar), Joseph (Cheryl Ladouceur), Mary Spinnato and her husband Joseph, Laura Ferrera (Shaun Lockhart), John and his wife Lindsey. Cherished nonna of Leanne (Sean), Jenine, Kristine (their mother Becky Andali), Justin (his wife Lisa) Andrew (Amanda), Jeremy (Karleen), Christopher, Jovan (his wife Laura), Daniel (Taylor) Nicolas, Taylor (his fianceé Leila), Luca and Dante. Bisnonna of Leo Giovanni, Sophia Rose, Julian Joseph Paul and great-granddaughter to be. Predeceased by her parents Angela Maria and Giuseppe Lopetrone, brothers Francesco, Salvatore, Giovanni Lopetrone and Franco Pecorelli. Aunt (Zia) to many nieces and nephews in Italy, France and Canada. Commari to many loyal and loving friends. Rosa was Giovanni’s love of his life. They enjoyed their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to no end. Rosa could not get enough of her family. The house was filled not only with her family but with so much love. She lived for them. Her warm beautiful smile and infectious laugh brought joy to everyone. She never wanted anyone to leave and it was obvious as she stood outside every time blowing kisses till you turned the corner. Rosa had many passions including her flower gardens, playing bocce and cards with her friends. Visitation will be at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, Thursday December 7, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Vince Gulikers at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, December 8th at 1:30 p.m.  Entombment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum.  As an expression of sympathy and in the spirit of Christmas, to honour Rosa please bring non perishable goods for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank or make a monetary donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 106 East St., Sarnia, N7T 3R1(cheques only at the funeral home please).  Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.mckenzieblundy.com
