Obituary of Marcus Daniel Harwood

At Royal Alexandra Hospital, Edmonton AB, on August 18, 2017 at the age of 46, Marcus freed himself from ALS and went to be with the Lord.  Marcus is survived by his parents Fred & Marilyn, Sarnia, ON.  Two brothers, Fred & Odette, Newark, CA, and Derek & Silvia, Edmonton, AB.  Two nephews, Freddie & Dennis.  Marcus is predeceased by his brother Sterling (1965).  Born and raised in Sarnia, Marcus moved to Edmonton in 1999 and was employed with National Fire Equipment until 2014 when his battle with ALS began.  Marcus loved his cats and would always say that they were his babies.  He was always happy and would put everyone before himself.  A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 210 Michigan Ave., Point Edward on October 7, 2017.  Visiting from 12-2 p.m. with service at 2 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to ALS Canuck, 641 Hillcrest Dr., London, ON N6K 1A8 would be greatly appreciated.
