BARR, Ryan Joseph - It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden death of our cherished son, father, brother, grandson and nephew, Ryan Joseph Barr. Ryan died at home in London on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the age of 23. Loving father of Lyla Barr, Sarnia. Cherished son of Penny Barr, Sarnia and Paul (Lorraine) Barr, Corunna. Dear brother Nolan, Brayden and Kara Barr and step-brother of Sarah & Kate Shephard and Claire Cameron. Grandson of Viola (Ken) Jones, Sarnia. Special nephew of John (Lisa) Verstraeten, Wallaceburg, Greg (Tonia) Barr, Sombra, Brad Barr, Sarnia, Cathy (Mike) Lambert, Wallaceburg, Christine (Frank) Gomez, London, Brian (Grace) Barr, Toronto, Dave (Natalia) Barr, Japan and Stacey (Roni) Hoffman, London. Also survived by many cousins. Predeceased by his sister Jessica Barr and grandparents Robert Barr & Sharon & Joe Verstraeten. Ryan loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for music, liked to box and was always ready for the next adventure. His favorite quote was "Freedom is a must". Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Words of Remembrance will be shared at 8 p.m. Cremation will follow and a private family service will be held at a later date.
