So sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Leo as he was known to me. There are so many things I could say about him but my favorite memory of uncle Leo was how much he loved to dance. And when he danced with you he would look right into your eyes and smiled at you the whole time you danced with him. My mother Bea used to love dancing the polka with him.
My other memory of him was when my brothers and I turned 18 and Uncle Leo was working at the Canterbury Hotel at the Coach Stop, he bought us our first drink- a rum punch!
He will be missed!
Special condolences to Darlene and Leonard and family.
our love and prayers to all of you
Brian and Linda

So sorry to hear about your Dad, Darlene. I remember him to be quite the character and witnessed the dancing that he seemed to have loved so much. So happy you were able to be with him during his final moments, I'm sure that meant everything to both of you. Thinking of you all during this time.

I'm so very sorry for your loss of your Dad, Papa and Great Papa,
His was a long battle and now he has been called home to dance on the clouds and he will always be with you, watching over you.
We grew up across the street from you for a few years, then years later, Leo was one of our favourite bartenders at the Canterbury Inn along with Simon Bakker. Simon and Leo were wonderful, who could ever forget them.
Leo was also the grandfather of my nephews, Leo and Steve ( Trish ) Paquette.
R.I.P. Leo, you will be missed and if you ever want to reminisce Darlene, please get in touch with me....sending love and healing hugs,
Elaine
