JENNINGS, Phyllis, Florence, Evelyn - Holding the hands of her loving husband and daughter, Phyllis Jennings died peacefully at Twin Lakes Terrace on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Charles Thomas "Tom" Jennings. Loving mother of Phyllis O'Brien & her husband Dan, Sarnia. Dear step-mother of Deborah Harrison & her husband David, Sarnia, Joanna Jennings, Sarnia and Wesley Jennings & his wife Lee Ann, Brampton. Cherished grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 7. Sister-in-law of Margaret Lewis, England. Predeceased by her parents Lawrence & Florence Lewis and her brothers John & Terry Lewis, first husband Harry Jennings and step-son Brian Jennings. Phyllis loved to ballroom dance and travel. She excelled at knitting, crocheting, baking and sewing. Phyllis was an avid reader. She was a long time member of Parker Street and Dunlop United Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and was also a cub leader. Above all Phyllis loved her family and spending time with them meant the world to her. Her husband Tom says Phyllis was the most beautiful woman in the world and she was the sunshine of his life. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23rd at Dunlop United Church. Private family interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery.
