LADANCHUK, Ivy Rose "Jackie" - It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Jackie Ladanchuk. Surrounded by her family at St. Joseph's Hospice, Jackie died on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Tony (2010). Loving mother of Katherine (Jerry) Chaplick, Debbie (Hugh) Bain, Janet (John) Surins, Kim (Tim) Eberle and Mark (Fiona) Ladanchuk. Cherished grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 2. Dear sister of Michael (Brenda) Lovett. Predeceased by her parents Florence & Albert Lovett and sister Jean Turnbull-Smith. Jackie's passion in life was her family. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time watching the birds and befriending the squirrels in her yard. In the last few years, Jackie became an avid Blue Jays fan, never missing a game or a chance to support the team. If she wasn't watching baseball in her jersey, Jackie liked to do jig saw puzzles. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service in celebration of Jackie's life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Wednesday, September 14th at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Angela MacDonald.
