Obituary of Maxted Adlam
ADLAM, Maxted "Max" - Suddenly at Bluewater Health on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, Max Adlam died at the age of 76. Beloved husband of the late Sandra "Sandy" (2015). Loving father of Deborah Adlam & her husband Mark Doney , Niagara Falls, Christopher Adlam, Glencoe and Tim Adlam, St. Thomas. Dear step-father of Michele Brosseau & her husband Brian, B.C., Melissa Thibault & her partner Bruce Moorhead, Georgetown, Mark Orrange & his partner Josée Darcy, Sarnia, the late Mike Orrange & his wife Kim, Brigden. Cherished grandfather of Tyler Orrange, Michael Orrange (Elysia), Laura Thibault, Sydney Thibault, Courtney Brosseau, Justin Brosseau, Colin Orrange, Connor Orrange, Cameron Orrange, Max Doney & Sam Doney. Great-grandfather of Chloe Ann, Kaiden, Alex & Greyson Orrange. Dear son of Violet (Cam) Adlam. Loving brother of David Adlam (Violet), Texas. Brother-in-law of the late Marie Welch (Doug) Strathroy, Robert Swales (Donna), London, Leonard Swales (Ruth), Appin. Predeceased by his father Ernest "Ted" Adlam. Max was a Process Operator and Labour Relations Manager for Dow Chemical for over 35 years. He was a long time volunteer for the Red Cross. Max was a gentle giant who was very giving and always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered but all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Chapel 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16th. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Red Cross, 416 East St. N., Sarnia N7T 6Y4.
