Dear mother of Michael Maarhuis, Pickering, Tracy (Brian) Mukli, Bowmanville and Debbie Maarhuis (late Dave Clark), Oshawa. Loving grandma to Ashley Maarhuis, Demi Mackesy (Mike Tetreault), Chad Mackesy, Lindsay Schachow and Jamie Mukli. Great-grandma of Ivy, Wesley and Cadence. Sister-in-law of Joanne Verschraegen, Windsor and Marvella Verschraegen, Wallaceburg. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Polidoor & Bertha Verschraegen, former husband John Maarhuis and by brothers Al and George Verschraegen. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
