McALPINE, Michael “Mike” – At Vision Nursing Home on Sunday, July 17, 2016 Mike McAlpine died at the age of 83. Loving partner of Devra Sullivan. Loving father of Gary & Sue McAlpine, Ric McAlpine, Kelly McAlpine & Gee Bramwell, Susan & Joe Emilio. Cherished grandfather of 9 and great-great-grandfather of 8. Also survived by his siblings Gerald (Sharon) McAlpine, Carmelle Kelley (Arn), Sharen McAlpine (Brian Hall) and brother-in-law Ted Waluchow. Also survived by the mother of his children, Lilly McAlpine. Predeceased by parents Wilfred & Gertrude McAlpine, sister Stella Waluchow, 1st father & mother-in-law Ernest & Alice Praill, daughter-in-law Brenda (Mooney) McAlpine, 2nd wife Katie. Mike was a local property developer for over 50 years. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards and dancing. Mike had a passion for riding his Honda and spent many hours and hundreds of miles on the road. Cremation has taken place with a private interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Charity of your choice.
