Obituary of Gus Maurice Seguin

SEGUIN, Gaston “Gus” Maurice - With family by his side at London Health Sciences - Victoria Hospital, Gaston Seguin died on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the age of 75. Loving father of Ninette & her husband Cory, Sarnia, Marshall Seguin, Vancouver. Cherished grandfather of Brian, Trina-Lynn, Cory Jr. and great-granddaughter Madison and step-son John. Dear brother of Hilaire Seguin (Sharon), Fern Ferlatte (Ernie), Claudette Szabo, Therese Poirier, Pierette Gagne and Norman Seguin. Also survived by his sister-in-law Mariette and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Mendoza & Julienne Seguin, brothers Eugene & Cecil, Marcel, Jean Guy and sister Jeannine Boucher. Ninette would like to thank Gus’s nephew Mike Poirier for all his support during this difficult journey. Gus grew up in Bluewater and worked in both the Carpenters and Labourers Union. He loved to hunt and spend time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A graveside remembrance service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22nd at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
