Obituary of Phylis Gertrude McAuley

McAULEY, Phylis (McGill) – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Phylis McAuley at Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late James Michael McAuley (1998). Loving mother of Doug (Wendy), Ken, Jerry, Jim, Rick, all of Sarnia, Tom (Cindy), Collingwood and Kathy Stenkamp (Bernd), Bright’s Grove. Dear Gramma of Gillian (Tim), Matt, Alex, Steven (Amy), Brian (Kiri), Andrew (Darlene), David (Risa), Mark, Melissa (Tim), Emily, late Philip, Andrew, Katie (Tyler), Heather (Eric), Nicholas (Lindy) and Kara (Adam). Great-Gramma of Jordan, Blake, Katie, Erin, Brendan, Bailey, Ethan, Anna, Brodie, Haley, Ava and Claire. Sister-in-law of Virginia McGill, Sarnia and Kay McGill, British Columbia. Predeceased by parents Alexander & Mary McGill and by several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
