My sincere condolences to the family of Carol. My heart is heavy and sad for the loss of this wonderful lady. I attended Alma College with Carol and will always remember the great times and laughs and giggles we shared together. Carol was a gem: she was wise and funny, respectful and caring. She was one of a kind. I was honoured to be called her friend and Alma buddy. I will sincerely miss her more than words can say. Our Alma reunions will never be the same without her. Please accept my sincere sympathy John, Mary Lou, and Pat. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sincerely Kay Roach from Tucson, AZ.

My condolences to Carol's family. I worked with Carol at Esso. We were part of the lunch bunch crew. Carol always had interesting and funny stories to tell us at lunch. She was a great co-worker and friend. She will be missed.

Hello Family of Carol Keller,
Let me begin by extending my deepest sympathies to you for your loss of such a special woman. The smile in the photo is exactly how I remember her.
I met Carol at Imperial Oil for the first time when I was a summer student actually and had completed my first year in the Office Administration program at Lambton College back in the very early 90's. I learned more from her than I had in my whole year in school! :) My curriculum was excellent, don't misunderstand, but Carol knew things that you wouldn't necessarily find in books. Working with a wide range of people given the diversity in personalities, skills sets and demands, she taught me the art of providing excellent customer service but without getting walked all over too. After all, there were very few females working at the CMS building at that time, let alone someone so young. She was a no nonsense kind of lady but had a heart of gold too. After a few years with Imperial, I went on to start a business and continued to work with her on occasion when we were maintaining manuals. There were a lot of changes that took place, especially technologically and she was right in there with her sleeves all rolled up ready to work. She loved her Imperial Oil family.
Even as the years had passed, we still managed to chat or a message would be shared about some event in our lives. Though I moved forward, had a family, earned degrees and a full time Professor position at Lambton College, Carol still comes up whenever I am facilitating a class of upcoming admin. professionals and we are discussing the art and importance of good customer service. She was even able to message me through one of my graduates who was recently hired in a position that she actually retired from. It is funny how things come around full circle sometimes.
She definitely embodies the quote she noted in her obituary when it said,
"I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race and I have kept the faith."
She will be missed.
Rest in peace Carol.

I have known Carol for many years I met her through Beginning Experience. Carol was a member for many years and helped many people who were dealing with grief. The Beginning Experience members have asked me to express their sorrow at Carol's passing. Carol also worked with my late husband at Esso. My husband had a great deal of respect for Carol. Please accept my condolences in Carol's loss. I know she will be missed by all who knew her!

Debbie and I are currently in Cape Town but remain in contact with Sarnia news through the amazing age of electronics. We are both saddened by the fact that Carol has passed away and we wish to pass on our sincere condolences to you all.
We both have wonderful memories of our times with you and Carol on Cursillo and my times being a member of Central United. Those were fun times and these and your many other memories hopefully will sustain you during this period of grief.
