Obituary of Patricia Geraldine Hall

HALL, Patricia Geraldine “Gerry” – Surrounded by her family at Marshall Gowland Manor on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of William Neil “Bill” for 60 years. Dear mother of Tony (Mary Beth) Hall, Sarnia and Susan (Alain) Bernier, Sarnia. Loving Nana of Elizabeth (Patrick) Callan, Toronto and Andrew Bernier, Sarnia. Sister of Nuala Foley-Felton (Dick) Felton, Sarnia and Michael Foley, England. Predeceased by parents Patrick & Bridget Foley, sister Maura Williams, brothers Daniel and Frank Foley, great niece Autumn Lynne Davies and great nephew Nolan Foley. Gerry worked in the cafeteria at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 30 years retiring in 1994. She was an avid knitter and sewer. Gerry loved to spoil her grandchildren and had a soft spot for all animals. Gerry’s family would like to thank the 1st floor staff of Lambton Meadowview Villa which had been her home for the past 4 years and the staff of Marshall Gowland Manor Rose Unit for keeping her comfortable during her short time there. Visitation will be at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9-10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, 420 N. East St., Sarnia, N7T 6Y5 (cheques only at the funeral home please).
