Obituary of Christel Rosa Henni Blyth

BLYTH, Christel – April 29, 1936 - November 25, 2015 - At Bluewater Health, Palliative Care, on Wednesday, November 25, 2015, Christel Rosa Henni Blyth (née Seifarth) died peacefully at the age of 79. Dear mother of Brenda Blyth (Ron Joseph), the late Robert Blyth (June 12, 1960 – April 20, 1985), Karen (Dean) Shortt, Calgary, and William Blyth. Christel will be remembered by her grandchildren Christopher (Jen) and Jeffery (Jaimie) Healey, Andrea (Aaron) Dumais and Matthew Shortt of Calgary, Reggie (Lindsey) Joseph, London, and Christie Joseph; and her great-grandchildren Jordynn, Haydn, Brendon, Cassidy, Cole, Karson, Jackson, Wyatt, Marcus, Logan, Ryenn, Ashton, Brooke and two babies on the way. Also survived by her sisters Elfrieda (the late Bernhard) Reemtsema, the late Rosi (Wulfgang) Siebert all in Germany, and brothers Franz (Linda) Siefarth, England and Hans Siefarth, Germany. Christel started in dietary at Sarnia General Hospital and later continued to work as a unit helper for 30 years. In her retirement, Christel continued to volunteer for 10 years at Sarnia General and Bluewater Health. At Christel's request, private arrangements are entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.
