Hi Dave. I was wondering if you could watch over all of us and help Brian and Ron and myself. I know Christmas was your favourite time of the year. Please help the family get through the holidays. We have lost so much in the last five years.
We need some stability. Ellen was very fond of you and she lost her Dad and her Brother this past year. Maybe you could put in a good word for us.
In Christs name.

Well Dave; I am not sure what to say. You were taken way too early from your loving family and friends. I trust you are now with Dad and in a much better place. I may not have said it enough but you were always my silent hero. I miss you tremendously and wish we could have gone up to the Kawartha's one more time. Please know that you in the hearts of many people. You did so much for so many and no one knew. A heart bigger than life it self. I think of you often and I appreciate you visiting me in my dreams with Dad.
Sleep well brother; you may be gone but never forgotten.
Love you
Ken, Ellen and Madison

I went to School at St. Pats with Dave we were classmates in the same Grade. It is with great sadness that I read of his passing.
We were friends all those years ago in high school and, although we haven't remained close, I have run across him from time to time since then. Some things effect you more than you're prepared for and this news has come at a time when I have experienced a number of losses and setbacks in the lives of many of my close family and friends. To the point, we are losing too many good people, in this case before his time, and Dave Palmer was one of the those good folks.
May He Rest in Peace and my sincerest condolences to all his loved ones.

Dear Marilyn,
I am so sad to hear of Dave's passing. He was always so kind to everyone - and funny! Our shared rides to and from Kings College were a blast! I can't imagine how difficult it is to lose a child, no matter their age. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'll never forget how much David helped Ken and I with economic theory. He was always willing to help, and it was greatly appreciated. I miss the discussions we used to have about economics and the oil industry. In fact, a discussion with David about anything at all was always enlightening and entertaining. He had a keen mind and a great sense of humor. My heartfelt condolences to all of the Palmers and extended family.

My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of David. David was a great card player and I enjoyed many games of cards with him during the time I lived near his apt. He was a very serious honest forthright person and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him as did all of his friends.
I am also so sorry to hear about his grandma passing at the same time. He always had high respect for his Gramm as he called her and I met her a short time ago when she was in the nursing home. What a beautiful lady. He always spoke highly of all his family and especially his mom.
My sympathy to all-Maggie
