Obituary of Teresa Phyllis Meade

MEADE, Phyllis (Arnold) - Peacefully on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Marshall Gowland Manor, Phyllis Meade died at the age of 103. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Arnold (1950) and Jack Meade(1985). Loving mother of Marilyn Palmer ( Phillip 2011), Jean Knight (Doug), Rita Silvestri (Nino), the late Bill Arnold (2010), the late Don Arnold (2012), step-daughter, the late Cedella Houston(1995) (Chuck), and step son, the late Jack Meade (2008), step daughter Helen Dodds (Ross 2001), Frank Meade (Kathy) and Stan Meade. Cherished grandmother of; Brian, Ken, Ron and the late David (2015) Palmer, John (Nora), Chris, Darryl (Laura) and Natalie Silvestri, Stephanie Carr, Skot McDougall, Tracey McMahon (Bob) and Kelly Price (Brad). Also survived step-grandchildren Wayne Houston, Cheryl Hanet, Wendy Favel, Debbie Dodds-Winder, Wanda Dodds-Taylor, Jacquelin, Samantha, Sean, Brendan & Kyle Meade and several great-grandchildren. Phyllis was born in Sarnia and was employed at Polymer Corporation until her retirement. She was a member of St. Benedict Church and a 75 year member of the Catholic Women’s League. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held for Phyllis and her grandson David Palmer at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to The McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia.
