John Joseph Klauke posted a condolence

This is seriously not a Joke.
First off My sincere condolences I googled my name (John Joseph Klauke) and this Obit was one of the first results. As you can imagine I was a bit taken back. I live in the States (Milan Michigan) I did in a round about way know Joanne as she added me to face book via Harmony for youth years back. (sorry for your loss of her as well.)
Anyhow wanted to touch base as I thought it appropriate and also say what a wonderful man he sounded like. I lost my father a year ago this Valentines day.
If there happens to be any family member who read this feel free to contact me jklauke@visteon.com

Sheila & family,
Christie and I are very sorry for your loss. While, we only saw each other periodically in the Cove, Jack was a personality that was enjoyed (and hard to miss!). His commitment to spending time in Jackson's Cove through his health issues the last few years is a statement to the passion that he had for the area.
The Haus that Jack built will carry on in memory of him for all of us who knew him.

Sheila and family .... Joan and I are much saddened with your great loss. Like so many others I met Jack through the Cursillo movement. I cannot say how 'taken' I was by this Big and Gentle man who was able to stand up in front of a group of men, who he did not yet know, and share of his personal relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It was through this example of honesty that I was eventually able to open my own heart to Jesus. I also had the privilege of serving in the kitchen at the Inn with Jack for some years. Again through his openness to the Gospel message, I was able to learn from Jack what it meant to see others through the eyes of Jesus.
Sheila ... though we understand your sorrow in Jack's death .... we all also know of the joy that is in heaven with Jack safely coming home. May the peach and love of Christ fill you all with fond memories ..... and may Jack be praying for all of us left behind.
God Bless and keep you Sheila
