Obituary of John James Taylor

TAYLOR, JOHN, JAMES - Suddenly on September 16, 2015 at University Hospital, London, John James Taylor, died at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Dolores Taylor (Barnes). Loving father of Greg Taylor & his wife Dr. Cassandra Taylor, Sarnia and Chad Taylor & his wife Jennifer, Texas. Cherished papa of Jacob, Kalyna, Colby and Brady Taylor. Dear brother of Ron Taylor (Moralba), Windsor, the late R.J. Taylor (Joan), London and Donna Wolsey (Del), London. Brother-in-law of Will Barnes (Elaine), Sarnia, Ron Barnes (Helen), Oakville, Rick Barnes (Katherine), London, Marlene Wahby (Dr. Bob Wahby), Dorchester, Linda Stinson (Ron), London and Rosemary Dupuis (Ron), Kitchener. Predeceased by his parents Dorothy & Jack Taylor. John was a pipefitter/welder with Local 663 for over 20 years. He was a long time member of the Community of Christ Church. John's passion was his family and he loved spending time with them. He enjoyed his winters in Arizona and playing golf. Visitation will be held 2-5 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia. A celebration of John's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 21st. at the Community of Christ Church (LaSalle & Brigden Side Rd.,) officiated by Pastor Vonda DenBoer. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date.
