Obituary of Danny Ross Chadwick

CHADWICK, Danny Ross of Sarnia, passed away peacefully of respiratory complications in his peaceful acceptance of lung cancer, on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the age of 68 years. Beloved father of Tamara (Scott) Johnson, Michael Chadwick and Mark Chadwick. Cherished grandfather of Colin, Andy, Katie, Liam, Brock, Matthew, Cody, Emma and Luke and Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dear brother to Bill Chadwick (Carrie). Predeceased by infant daughter Lisa Marie, parents Norris and Marie Chadwick, brothers David and Terry and sister Anita. Longstanding member of Boilermakers Local 128. Special thank you to Doctor Martin Chilvers and the wonderful staff of Bluewater Health Cognitively Complex Care Unit, Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit including Drs Lubchansky, Scholz, Davies, Patterson, Haddad, Vouriot and Slessaren and nurses Laurie, Carla, Belinda, Jaime and Fred. On Tuesday, May 26, a regular mass will be offered in Danny’s name at 8:30 am at Sacred Heart Church and a graveside prayer service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at 1:00 pm with a reception at the Ex-Serviceman’s Club in Point Edward at 1:30 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Terry Fox Foundation.
