Obituary of Joanne Sheila Mary Klauke-LaBelle

KLAUKE-LABELLE, Joanne Sheila Mary - Surrounded by her family and friends at Bluewater Health, after a long and courageous battle with illness, Joanne Klauke-LaBelle died Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the age of 47. Beloved wife of Richard LaBelle. Loving mother of Julianne (Michael) Walker, Brittany O’Neill, Randy LaBelle and Jessie LaBelle. Cherished Oma of Cole LaBelle. Dear daughter of John and Sheila Klauke and daughter-in-law of Russ and Helen Johnson. Sister of Katherine (Jamie) Maczko, Michael (Wendy) Klauke and the late Elizabeth Klauke (2006). Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Following her passion for helping young people and her love of music, Joanne founded Harmony for Youth, where she spent many years as the executive director. Joanne had a significant impact on the many lives she touched. She will be forever remembered for her generosity and unselfish commitment to others. Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14th, where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Vince Gulikers at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, April 15th, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date.
