Obituary of Don Ecker

ECKER, Don - At Bluewater Health, Mitton Site, on Monday, December 17, 2007, Don died at the age of 66. Beloved husband of 37 years of Margaret (Dillon). Loving father of Kathy & her husband Jim Smith, Port Franks, John Ecker, Ottawa and the late Paul Ecker (1999). Dear brother of Betty & her husband Rick Kosikar, Port Elgin, John Ecker, Sarnia and Mike & his wife Doreen Ecker, Petrolia. Predeceased by his parents Mel & Rose Ecker. Don was retired from Local 663 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union. He took great enjoyment from singing with his friends in the Sacred Heart Choir. Don loved lacrosse and played with the Point Edward Senior Lacrosse Team in the late 60's. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardins at Sacred Heart Church on Friday 11:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Rayjon Sharecare P.O.
