EGAN (Dochstader), Lillian Catherine - Passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred (1983). Cherished mother of Theresa Foubister, Bright's Grove, Rose Valenciuk (Edward), Strathroy, Frank Egan (Louise), Petrolia, Barbara Mater (Wes), Scarborough, Brian Egan, Mary Loupos (Peter), Linda Egan all of Sarnia and Karen MacLellan (Wayne) Strathroy. She will be sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters Mary Van Rooyen, Sarnia and Sister Jean Dochstader, London; and sister-in-law Florence Dochstader, Sarnia; as well as several nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by 2 brothers Louis Dochstader and Harold Dochstader (Lorraine) and son-in-law Bill Foubister. Lillian was a member of the Catholic Woman's League for 60 years. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict's Church, 1011 Oak Ave., on Friday, December 21st at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Pt. Edward N7V 1A6, Heart and Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd., Sarnia N7T 4Y1, Canadian Diabetes Association, 415 Exmouth St., Sarnia N7T 8A4 or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
