McKENNA, Françoise – At Sumac Lodge on Monday, May 31, 2010, Françoise died at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Thomas (1987). Loving mother of Richard. Proud grandmother of Therese, Frances, and Nicholas; great-grandmother of Adam, Bradley, Josef and Amanda; and great-great grandmother of Alexus and Zachary. Dear sister of Francois (Betty). Special friend of Mireille Beauchamp, Pat Cook, Marg Maheu and Irene Pollman. Predeceased by her parents, Emile and Laure; children, Frank (Sally) and Paul; grandson, Thomas; and sixteen siblings. Françoise was a member of the American Society of Architectural Design and the National Society of Designers. She attended Rideau St. Convent College in Ottawa for four years earning her high school diploma and St. Clair College in Port Huron, studying Architectural Design. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Terence Runstedler at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Saturday, June 5th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
